I'm in love with Spain

Spain is so wonderful. I finally arrived in Spain at 9:00 am on Monday. I got off the train, walked up to the information booth and asked for the beach. La Mer necessito! On my way to the beach I somehow walked right in to the hostel I was staying at, Gothic Pointe. It was right off of La Rambla, the craziest party block in Barcelona. All of the people at the hostel were really cool.
I spent all day lounging around at la playa. I swam around in la mer for hours...sandcastles. It was just what I needed after the drab last couple of days. Then I remembered I was wearing my money belt. My passport was in it, hehe. I love it.
I spent Tuesday visiting Antoni Gaudi's architecture. I started off with the Temple de la sagrada familia. It was so amazing to see a cathedral in construction. Immediately I loved Gaudi's style. Its so different than what you expect. He did with architecture what Dali did with paint. I spent so many hours wandering around in the various towers. Then I visited his Park Guell. I hiked up immeasurable amounts of stairs, after climbing around 900 stairs in the towers. The burn was great. The park was so inventive and original. The colors and creativity. I'm in love with Gaudi and Barcelona. People were looking at me like I was crazy because I was laying on the floor taking pictures of the mosaics on the ceiling. Now Granada. I am at the best hostel I've ever been at, Oasis. They have free: internet, tapas tour, breakfast, coffee, tea, safe, welcome drink, dvd rental, full kitchen with pans, silverware and everything. There's a rooftop terrace. The Alhambra is only 250 meters away. I'm in heaven.
